| I've decided to discontinue our Xanga updates. Most of what I post on Xanga is a repeat of what I've posted on Facebook, and since I access Facebook daily and Xanga monthly (at best), I've decided to stop posting on Xanga.
I know that not all of you who look forward to our updates on Xanga are Facebook users, so I will try to send out a regular email with links to the pictures on Facebook along with a brief update on our lives. Please send me your email address if this is you - if you want regular updates and are not on Facebook. You can email me at ja_pichea @ yahoo . com (take out the spaces) with your name and email, and I'll add you to the "update list."
Thanks for caring about our family and taking the time to keep up with us (when we manage to post updates). We love you all!

| We've been working with Jenny on the correct pronunciations of words, now that she understands basic phonics and can read.
This morning, I was correcting her pronunciation of "milk" - she says "nilk". I asked her if it was "mmmm-ilk" or "nnnn-ilk" and she correctly answered "mmmm-ilk". I then proceeded to spell out the word "milk" - "M. I. L. K." to which she responded "Yes. U. R. O. K."
Other mispronunciations? "Polkadots" is really the "Poconos". "Chicken" is really "kitchen". "Lellow" is really "yellow." "Maggets" is really "magnets."
She's getting close to getting it right every time on the ones above... but it takes some thought and brings a lot of laughs!

| That's right... we'll have been married for FIVE WHOLE YEARS this Friday. Wow... time has flown!
We spent a bit of time this past Saturday preparing for our 5-yr anniversary getaway - we're golfing for two straight days. We bought golf shoes in the morning (less than $90 for two pair!!), decorated our "anniversary" golf balls (be sure to check out the pictures by clicking the link), and spent some time at the "driving range" (in our backyard) practicing.
Ashley's parents and sister are keeping the kids for us while we spend some quality alone/together time, enjoying a favorite together activity. Thanks, Mom and Dad and Alyssa!
